For Kimi Werner, when she spends hours hunting in the âfieldâ, sheâs deep underwater in the ocean with only her spear and her breath to get the job done. Growing up on coastal Maui offered her the experience of seeing and appreciating her role in and impact on the ecosystem. Kimi followed her passions into profession. Sheâs since earned the title of United States National Spearfishing Champion, become a certified culinary chef, and continues to be a steward for a sustainable, global community.
